Distinguish inactive projects from archived opportunities and avoid deleting a project just to pause it.
Distinguish inactive projects from archived opportunities and avoid deleting a project just to pause it.
Before you start
Open the buyside project and check its status badge.
Steps
Read whether the project is Draft, On Hold, Closed, or active.
If the project is incomplete, choose Edit Project and finish its required information.
For an eligible inactive project, use Reactivate Project from the project menu.
If you need to stop sourcing and do not have an appropriate project-level control, contact support with the project name and the change you want.
What happens next
Reactivation changes the project back to active. Archived is also a deal tab: passing on an opportunity does not archive the whole mandate.
Common problems
The project menu's Delete Project action is not a timed pause. Do not use it expecting automatic restoration. An On Hold action on selected deals changes those opportunities, not necessarily the entire project.
