Describe the businesses and financial ranges you want your project to target.

Before you start

Open a new buyside project or choose Edit Project on an existing one.

Steps

  1. Select the industries that fit your mandate, expanding the industry groups to choose more specific activities where appropriate.

  2. Choose the locations in which you want to source opportunities.

  3. In Financial Preferences, enter the applicable minimum and maximum Revenue, EBITDA, or investment-size values. Follow the units printed beside the inputs.

  4. Check that each minimum is no greater than its maximum, then save and revisit the project.

What happens next

The saved criteria guide matching. Fit scoring can allow tolerances and related industries; a match is not a guarantee that every detail satisfies your mandate.

Common problems

If results are too broad, inspect your selected industry branches and ranges before narrowing them. A blank value is not a substitute for a deliberate minimum or maximum.
