Understand profile visibility and confidentiality

Keep public-facing company information separate from deal-restricted materials.

Keep public-facing company information separate from deal-restricted materials.

Before you start

Identify the information you want to share publicly and what should remain private.

Steps

  1. Review your company's profile and directory-facing description for identifying or confidential details.

  2. Use company settings to correct fields you are authorized to edit.

  3. Review each sellside teaser separately, including its anonymity setting, description, and external links.

  4. Contact support about a visibility concern that cannot be resolved through the available fields.

What happens next

You can reduce unnecessary disclosure without assuming that all profile or deal surfaces have identical access rules. Private document access is separate from public company or teaser information.

Common problems

There is no verified universal hide-from-search or account-privacy switch described here. Removing information from an editable field cannot recall copies someone already received.
