Keep company identity and sensitive information confidential
Review what your teaser and documents reveal before you share them.
Review what your teaser and documents reveal before you share them.
Before you start
Know which information you can disclose publicly and which should remain in restricted materials.
Steps
In the full project editor, review Keep company name Anonymous and the actual name shown in your project copy.
Read the headline and description for indirect identifiers such as a unique customer, exact address, website, or distinctive business detail.
Choose the appropriate NDA and CIM-sharing settings, then inspect every uploaded document and external link.
Before outreach, review the teaser as information intended for recipients rather than assuming all project content is private.
What happens next
You reduce unintended disclosure. An anonymous-name setting cannot remove identifying text embedded in your own description, file, or externally hosted document.
Common problems
Do not put a confidential CIM in a public teaser field. External links can be forwarded or governed by the external service's permissions. If sensitive information has already been disclosed, contact support and the relevant recipients promptly.
