Understand buyer profiles and match scores

Compare a prospective counterparty's profile with your deal before reaching out.

Compare a prospective counterparty's profile with your deal before reaching out.

Before you start

Open a buyer or capital-provider row from your sellside project.

Steps

  1. Read the company description, contact details, and available mandate information.

  2. Compare the stated industries, locations, and financial preferences with your project.

  3. Use the displayed score as a prioritization aid, then inspect the underlying details.

  4. Ask relevant questions through the deal conversation when engagement is available.

What happens next

You can make a more informed outreach decision. A score summarizes matching information; it is not a credit assessment, proof of funds, or promise of a successful transaction.

Common problems

Do not infer a verification level from a company-type label or a high score. If the profile appears inconsistent, ask for clarification or use Report a Concern for a substantive issue.
