Configure CIM access and delivery

Choose whether ready CIM materials are shared automatically after NDA execution or released manually.

Before you start

Open the project's full editor and have the intended CIM files or link available.

Steps

  1. Find CIM / Summary Materials.

  2. Choose Automatic CIM Share for sharing after the NDA is executed, or Manual CIM Share to grant access separately for each member.

  3. Upload the materials or provide the link. If they are not ready, select the preparing-CIM option instead.

  4. Review the CIM Note Template and any team members copied on those notes, then save.

What happens next

The saved mode controls the document-sharing workflow. A custom NDA needs its fully executed PDF recorded before post-NDA access is available.

Common problems

Do not select automatic sharing unless you are ready for that release behavior. If a buyer has signed but has no CIM, check both the stored materials and the manual-release step; signing cannot create a missing document.
