Pause, withdraw, or mark a project successfully closed

Use the actual project states when a deal pauses, ends unsuccessfully, or closes.

Use the actual project states when a deal pauses, ends unsuccessfully, or closes.

Before you start

Decide whether the change is temporary, an ended transaction, or a completed deal.

Steps

  1. Open the sellside project's status controls.

  2. Choose On Hold for a paused process or Deal is Dead when the transaction is no longer proceeding.

  3. Use Successfully Closed and the relevant closing flow only for an actual completed transaction.

  4. Review the saved project state and communicate any important change to counterparties in the existing discussions.

What happens next

Inactive and closed states change discovery and action eligibility. They do not erase prior correspondence or recall documents recipients have already received.

Common problems

There is no timed snooze promise or automatic reactivation schedule. Successfully Closed is not a generic way to withdraw a listing. If you need to reopen a project and the intended action is unavailable, contact support.
