Before you start

Use documents you are authorized to share. Check their contents and any external-link permissions.

Steps

  1. In the guided intake's document step, upload available materials or enter the CIM link.

  2. If materials are not ready, leave both empty and continue to Submit for Review.

  3. When the CIM is ready, open the existing project's full editor and update CIM / Summary Materials.

  4. Choose Automatic CIM Share or Manual CIM Share deliberately and save the updated materials.

What happens next

The guided intake records a preparing-CIM state when no file or link is supplied. Adding documents later does not mean every previous requester immediately has access.

Common problems

Wait for uploads to finish before leaving the dialog. A broken external link is not a usable CIM. If you replace materials, check the current saved link and ask the counterparty which version they are reviewing.
