Get started selling a business or raising capital

Choose the right project for a business sale or a capital raise.

Choose the right project for a business sale or a capital raise.

Before you start

Sign in to the company you represent and gather a factual company description, recent financials, and any available materials.

Steps

  1. Start a sellside project for selling a business or raising capital, as appropriate.

  2. For the guided sale intake, identify your relationship to the company and enter or import the company information.

  3. Review industries, location, and financial information. Add documents if available; a sale intake can proceed while the CIM is being prepared.

  4. Submit for review and check the resulting project status.

What happens next

The project enters the review process when the required information is accepted. Starting intake or saving a draft does not publish the listing or send outreach.

Common problems

Choose a capital-raising project rather than describing a minority investment or debt raise as a business sale. If submission leaves a draft, inspect the missing information and the displayed error.
