Troubleshoot missing recommendations or financial-information warnings

Check project eligibility and data quality when recommendations are missing.

Check project eligibility and data quality when recommendations are missing.

Before you start

Open the affected project and keep the exact warning visible while you inspect its details.

Steps

  1. Check whether the project is still Draft or Pending Review, and read any publication warning.

  2. Review the saved Revenue and EBITDA. Provide actual numeric values for LTM or a qualifying recent year, not just an old historical year.

  3. Check industries, location, and transaction type for omissions or mistakes.

  4. Save corrections, reopen the project, and contact support with the project name and warning if the problem remains.

What happens next

You can distinguish missing or stale information from a project that is not eligible for new discovery. There is no guaranteed minimum recommendation count.

Common problems

Zero and a loss are not automatically missing financials, but simplified inputs and full-editor validation differ. Never invent a positive result to clear a warning. Closed or withdrawn deals should not be reactivated just to obtain a larger list.
